 Ingrid got up early on April 16th to test the #4 Dolphin Motorsports/Coast Guard Formula 500 race car in Atlanta. Dolphin Motorsports' excellent driver and mechanic, Clint "Wiley" McMahan--who was 2nd place at the 2005 SCCA runoffs--was there to advise Ingrid during testing and to fit her for a seat.
Ingrid is now confirmed to be racing this car at two South Atlantic Road Racing Championship (SARRC) events on April 22nd and 23rd at Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah, GA.
"I am so excited get back to open wheel!" said Ingrid. "Formula racing has always been my favorite because of my F2000 training at Bertil Roos. I want to especially thank Clint and Dolphin Motorsports. Their F500s are known to be really among the quickest open wheel cars in SCCA racing, in corners and even on straightaways. I can't wait to race this car!"
